Originally sold for only ¥2,090 (about $14), these ultra-coveted Pikachu Special Boxes have been fetching $300–$500 on eBay due to scarce supply . In response to outrageous secondary market prices, Creatures Inc. announced in June that they would reprint more boxes so “everyone” could get one – and they’re following through now!

Good news for collectors: the Pokemon Center (Japan) has opened a lottery for a new wave of Pikachu Special Boxes running until September 30th . Winners will be notified October 3rd–14th, after which they can purchase the boxes at retail price (¥2,090) – a huge win for fans who missed out. The new stock will ship between November and February.

Why the hype? Each Special Box contains an exclusive foil Pikachu promo card — either Tohoku’s Pikachu, Hiroshima’s Pikachu, or Fukuoka’s Pikachuplus 64 matching card sleeves and a deck box, all packaged in a themed storage box . These promos feature Pikachu celebrating the unique culture of each region (for example, one card even has Pikachu riding a Gyarados!) . With unique artwork and limited availability, it’s no wonder demand has been sky-high.

👉 Don’t miss your chance to snag these special Pokemon Center boxes at retail price. If you’re a Pokémon TCG collector, now’s the time to try your luck in the lottery and score one of these legendary boxes before they’re gone again! Good luck, trainers!
